Peerless Rockville will host its 33rd annual Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, November 7 at 7:30 pm in the Dolly Madison Room at the Americana Centre, 4 Monroe Place, Rockville.

Peerless’ awards program honors individuals, institutions, organizations, and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to Rockville’s heritage.  This year’s awards recipients include:

• The Americana Centre for outstanding landscape design of the plaza deck

• The City of Rockville Department of Recreation and Parks for excellence in the new design and construction of a major addition to the Rockville Senior Center

• Architect Craig Moloney of CEM Design for exemplary design and construction of a compatible addition to an existing residence

• Montgomery Preservation, Inc. for Historic Designation in Montgomery County, a factual and concise reference guide for County residents, public officials, and community groups

• The Montgomery County Cemetery Inventory Project for protection and preservation of historic cemeteries in Montgomery County

• Teresa Lachin, who will receive the Arthur M. Wagman Award for Historic Preservation Communication, for her exceptional work on Rockville’s Recent Past
