The Awards ceremony is our way of honoring and celebrating exceptional achievement by individuals, institutions, organizations, and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the preservation of Rockville’s historic and/or architectural character through projects, activities or programs. This year’s winners are:
- Mon Seigneur Robert Amey, Scott and Kammie Bell, and Kevin Daly, for Preservation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1967);
- Adamswood LLC (Steve Edwards and Jill Timmons) for Landscaping and Stewardship of 109 N. Adams St;
- William and Michele Egan, Owners, and John du Fief, builder, for New Construction of 210 Forest Avenue;
- Christ Episcopal Church (Ms. Carloyn Oakford, Dr. Diana Locke, Mr. Gregory Lin, Ms. Janice Musselman, Ms. Ann English) for Landscaping;
- Executive Board American Centre Homeowners Association for Preservation Advocacy for Americana Centre;
- Rockville Sister City Corporation in recognition of their 60th Anniversary
- Rockville Little Theatre in recognition of their 70th Anniversary
We also celebrated Nina Clarke in recognition of the occasion of her 100th birthday and her lifetime of outstanding contributions in History and Education.
