Peerless Rockville awards Patty and Peter Neame, owners of the Jones-Peters House, for stewardship, landscaping, and renovation of this historic property. The Jones-Peters House dates to 1825, is one of Rockville’s oldest houses and is possibly the oldest one still in use as a residence.  Owned by a succession of families, the Federal style house has had numerous additions, renovations, and restoration work.  The Neames completed a series of recent renovation projects to make the house more structurally sound and better insulated, as well as replacing gables and dormers to make the house more historically appropriate. Mark Hughes, Architect at Harrison Design Associates, and George Papaheraklis, Contractor at Finecraft Building Contractors were recognized for their work on the Jones-Peter house.
