The City of Rockville participates in Montgomery County’s Preservation Tax Credit Program for historic resources designated by the city. The City is now accepting applications for work completed in the 2015 calendar year. If you spent at least $1000 between January 1 and December 31, 2015 on exterior maintenance work at your property, you may be eligible for reduction of your property taxes for the upcoming year, amounting to 25% of the approved expenses.

Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2016, and sent to the Rockville Historic Preservation Section, City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave, Rockville MD 20850.
