Public Hearings Scheduled for Chestnut Lodge Development

We’ve added an article for the about the proposed development on the site of Chestnut Lodge – formerly the 19th-century luxury hotel Woodlawn – that was lost to fire in 2009. Check out the new article here to view proposal images and check back often for updates.

The City of Rockville Planning Commission will meet Wednesday, March 9th at 7 pm to consider redevelopment plans for a recommendation to Mayor and Council. Members of the public are welcome to provide input. Click here to read the Planning Commission Staff Report.

Rockville Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing on this topic on Monday, April 18th  at 7 pm.

The location of both these meetings is the Mayor and Council Chambers at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Avenue, Rockville, MD 20850.
