The deadline for Historic Preservation Tax Credit Applications is approaching! Applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2016, and sent to the Rockville Historic Preservation Section, City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave, Rockville MD 20850.

If you spent at least $1000 between January 1 and December 31, 2015 on exterior maintenance work at your property, you may be eligible for reduction of your property taxes for the upcoming year, amounting to 25% of the approved expenses. The HDC reviews all tax credit applications and makes a recommendation to the county to approve or disallow the proposed tax credit.
