Missed our Spring series? This walking tour will visit significant sites on the journey
towards educational equality in Montgomery County. We’ll recount the efforts of the local African-American community to establish a school in 1867, travel to the site of one of the earliest schools at Jerusalem – Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, and explore the artwork honoring teacher Wililam Gibbs in his fight for equal pay. Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather!

Tours depart at 1pm and 3pm.

Ticket reservations close at midnight the day before – reserve your spot today!
