Want to know more about Zelda Fitzgerald? Join us for an illustrated presentation on Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, the next event in Peerless Rockville’s speaker series partnership with Glenview Mansion and the City of Rockville.

The program will focus on Zelda as a serious artist who produced various works of art throughout her adult life. With a style described by one art historian as epitomizing the carefree spirit and piquancy of the 1920s, Zelda produced a fanciful visual diary of figures and dancers, paper dolls, children’s illustrations, flowers, cityscapes, biblical paintings, and landscapes in watercolor, gouache, pencil and oil. Speaker Roberta S. Mandrekas is a graduate student in the Humanities at Hood College and President of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Conference, Inc.
