Discover Colonial Rockville,
A Living History Event
May 29-30, 2005

Re-enactors, volunteers, and the public joined Peerless Rockville in
commemorating Braddock's 1755 march through Owen's Ordinary at Rockville's Hometown Holidays, May 2005.  Attendees got to participate in regimental drills, try out quill pens, examine period artifacts, talk with knowledgeable re-enactors, and look at an exhibit on Rockville's colonial past.  Peerless Rockville's entry in the City's Memorial Day Parade featured marchers in period costume carrying flags of the time.
